Heather is proud to call Maitland her new hometown. A yogi and a vegan, she is passionate about sharing how to maintain a healthy body, mind and spirit. It was only after years of personal practice that the universe called her to become a yoga teacher. Yoga taught her how to manage stress. And a few years later, it helped her recover from a running injury.
She now takes everything she’s learned, and passes it on to her students. She has studied yoga in Texas, Florida, California, Jamaica and Indonesia. A forever student, she continues to go to workshops and expand her knowledge of both the physical and spiritual practices of yoga.
Heather teaches a vinyasa/hatha flow, with a jivamukti influence. Focusing on proper alignment to prevent injuries.
How Yoga Serves Heather
Helping students cope with the daily stresses of life, or over come a physical limitation, brings Heather joy! She loves to see students leave class having removed the weight of the world off their shoulders.
